However, maybe this one could be recovered.
A simple question like is easily researched. You could also correlate it with total surface area and population density. Even ethography, if you desired to do so.
I'll commandeer this topic with a new question: Do you prefer living somewhere in the “continental US” where average temperatures below freezing, at any month of the year, are very rare? Why?
As for me: No. There are advantages to living in places where roads, pipes, cars, or neglected pets never freeze or become buried in snow. However, I like the climate and landscapes in places where such things are nuisances or occasionally dangers. I like the snow.
